FOR SELLERS

Final Walk-Thru + Closing

  • Final Walk-Thru

The final walk-thru is an opportunity for buyers to inspect the property before closing to ensure no damage has occurred since their last home inspection. They will also verify completion of inspection items and confirm nothing that was included on the purchase agreement was removed from the property.

  • Closing

The steps outlined in the real estate purchase contract have been completed and it is closing day - the final exchange of a home in a real estate transaction and the transfer of funds from buyer to seller. All involved parties meet to sign documents to make the transaction official. Prior to closing, your attorney will review the final settlement statement, which itemizes the closing costs and credits of the real estate transaction. When all the paperwork is signed and funds have been disbursed seller exchanges keys with the buyer and the buyer becomes the new property owner. Congratulations!
